wow ur a bike mechanic really hardworck.. pfff yes, how many years are we using regular cabels? arent they very durable and what fricition are they talking about?! thats just another way how to take your money why? if they dont experiment, they will never learn how it goes, how fine tune it. how to set up your rear derailleur? USE YOUR BRAIN. don't dig up on internet for every little thing you dont know how to fix, try to experiment have u ever tried to do it? this tools for removing a tire, suck, i mean, u can do it with bare hands 
i still don't get it why they make D3. look at this beautiful D2, so nice and smooth :) c'mon i have bought no name pedals for 10euros, cusomized them with steel bolts and with SKF RS bearings... i using them 1 year and they doing really good job! omg!!! who would give 150 euros for canfield crampons?!?!?!? thats a robery
